Google and Vanity

I've just learn here that Ross is first hit when you google "essentiality of origin." I am pleased to announce that, after some tries ;-{)}, I've discovered that I am first hit for "vagueness as semantic indecision." (Ok, admittedly not the most straightforward label for the view, but still...)

If you're proud or amused of being among the first hits for some particular locution, please feel free to share it. And no, nobody's gonna believe you've never googled your name!

Hi, Dan! This is a very entertaining post! ;)
Well, I could not avoid this little act of vanity, so I did a bit or research myself and... I'm happy to announce that I am (or rather my blog
is) first hit for "phenomenal+concepts+Madonna", which I'm quite proud of! (And she should as well!) ;)
And, interestingly, your bleb
is first hit for "emoticons+vagueness+metaphysics". So you are the most famous person to talk about this conjunction of issues...

Speaking of vanity Dan, I've just published my own philosophy-related webpage, and I was hoping you could provide a link to it on this fine blog of yours. Just click here. I'll stick a link to your site on mine if you do! Hope you're doing well, and the New York winter hasn't been too cold. A.

Hi Dan,

Just wondering: do you have an rss feed for this blog? It's not showing up in my browser...

all best

Thanks! The link should now appear at the bottom of the blog.

Unfortunately, neither Ross nor me are any longer first hits for our respective phrases... :-{(}

that's only cos you're living the high life in NY and so entering it into google.com. From google.co.uk I'm still the first hit.

And that's the *real* google! Or so I tell myself :-)
